Martin Luther King, A Look At His Murder

January is the birth month of Elvis Presley an American cultural icon and we have posted a number of videos by him for you to enjoy. This is also the month when a really great American and world leader was born Martin Luther King. And we will start posting some information on him over the coming weeks. Today we take a look at his death. Gunned down on a motel balcony in April of 1968.

This video below, which was uploaded to ChiTownView, is from the time of the Congresses investigation into the 1960's murders of King & the Kennedy's. It offers a fascinating look at some of the evidence that James Earl Ray was not the lone assassin of Martin Luther King but part of a larger conspiracy. It includes interviews with witnesses including Jesse Jackson. It is a little known fact that......

"According to a Memphis jury's verdict on December 8, 1999, in the wrongful death lawsuit of the King family versus Loyd Jowers "and other unknown co-conspirators," Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated by a conspiracy that included agencies of his own government. Almost 32 years after King's murder at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis on April 4, 1968, a court extended the circle of responsibility for the assassination beyond the late scapegoat James Earl Ray to the United States government. "

On MindsiMedia we recently posted a series of clips on the assassination of JFK here is one of them.
