Newly uploaded by on Jan 19, 2012
"Man's right to know, to learn, to inquire, to make bona fide errors, to investigate human emotions must, by all means, be safe, if the word FREEDOM should ever be more than an empty political slogan."

Wilhelm Reich, right before the U.S. government burned all of his books and papers, destroyed his orgone accumulators, and threw him in prison where he died eight months later in 1957. One of Sigmund Freud's more promising students Wilhiem Reich was one of the most revolutionary thinkers of the 20th century. His research that ranged from sexual energy to a machine that could alter weather were so revolutionary that they had to be supressed. This film offers a biographical sketch. With photos film and his own voice helping to tell the story.
